    -  Prepare the detailed operations to be activated on instrument installations according to the intervention planning.

  • Supervises the management and implementation of the Corrosion Control Strategy covering the corrosion monitoring activities including periodic reporting to provide integrity status of systems and significant trends or limitations.
  • Participates in the Risk Based Inspection implementation and update, in order to establish/review inspection strategies.
  • Initiates the implementation of corrosion prevention measures in areas of Cathodic Protection, Corrosion Chemical Inhibition, Materials Selection and Painting Systems, as well as Insulation Systems.
  • Reviews and interprets corrosion/inspection monitoring data in database, along with trends and existing mitigation measures.
  • Recommends changes in the corrosion criticality analysis and monitoring/inspection program where appropriate. Ensures all relevant data is entered into the database.
  • Participates in the regular review of Corrosion Control Materials and key performance indicators.

 QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • B.Sc/Diploma in Corrosion Science, Materials Engineer, Metallurgical Engineer or Chemical Engineer (preferably corrosion).
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Oil and Gas Industry with particular emphasis on RBI, RCA, CP systems and corrosion monitoring. Good experience in CP systems design evaluation.

Location: Offshore/Onshore Libya

Status: Rotational 5 week x 5 week

 Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the design, certification of all scaffolding structure on site according to all relevant specifications and standards.
  • Inspect all scaffolds erected within the boundaries of Project construction sites and yards to ensure they are suitable for safe use, and comply with the relevant industrial standards, and Company permit to work procedures.
  • Inspect and assess the condition of the scaffolding material and reject damaged, defective and substandard material.
  • Ensure that the Contractor maintain a record of the condition of all scaffolding materials and assemblies to ensure that they are maintained correctly and dispose of the damaged or defective materials
  • Provide advice on the suitability of specialized scaffolds supplied by contracting companies to meet the health and safety requirements of Company, with regard to design and access in case of plant upset conditions

Scope of Responsibilities
The role of the Technical Assistant is to assist the Project Director by providing technical and administrative support for all contractual requirements within the project

Primary Duties
- Produce spreadsheets that track core team activities for effective performance of the Work.
- Review sub-contractor invoices for accuracy and process when approved for payment
- Prepare authorisation sheets for salary additions/subtractions
- Produce letters as directed and track project correspondence
- Support camp admin staff with information on personnel and maintain a daily location log of all project personnel

- Liaise between in-country management / supervision and Malta Office for HR and general administration.
- Good understanding of the visa and local employment rules and regulations pertaining to Libya.

- Support management to ensure the Site Office working culture is structured and time managed.
- Compile the project weekly and monthly reports in the correct template
